Gift wrap instructions
Sometimes you need a gift-wrapped and you don’t have a lot of time. You need an easy way to make your perfect gift extra special. Something more imaginative than stuffing it into the standard gift bag and adding some tissue paper. If you need a gift wrap idea and all you have on hand is some nice gift wrap and pretty ribbon – perhaps for someone you don’t know that well, this one fits the bill.
A pretty patterned paper and simple narrow black ribbon was all that I used here. And a fair amount of glue. I began by attaching two long ribbons vertically and two horizontally and glued them to the bottom of the box.
Then I tied more of this same ribbon into bows and glued them where the ribbons intersected on the top of the package. That’s it. Simple but striking. And so versatile.
This gift wrap idea would work great for your Christmas gifts, with the package wrapped in red foil and red velvet ribbon tied in perfect bows. For a Wedding, you could use a textured white paper with a simple white ribbon for a beautifully wrapped gift. Or use a dark wrapping paper and a bright neon ribbon. Wrapping gifts doesn’t have to be a chore with this simple step-by-step idea. And there are so many different ways this can be done.
You don’t need much on hand to create this beautifully wrapped gift. That is why it is one of my favorite ideas. It doesn’t require much time and all you need on hand is some pretty ribbon and paper.
